TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
We are looking for a few parents who are interested in providing their input on the future of technology in our school. We are forming a Technology Committee that will consist of staff members, PEC members and parents. We will discuss and decide upon which types of technology to implement into St. Michael’s School. If you are interested, please submit your name to Mrs. Hunt in the school office.

St. Michael’s School Year End Dinner & Talent Show 2013
Saturday June 8, 2013
Doors open @ 4:00 pm l Dinner served @ 5:00 pm
The end of the school year is fast approaching. Come join us for a Year End Dinner and Talent Show on June 8th in the school gym. Besides dinner, the evening will include games with prizes, balloon making, face painting, trivia questions (for both adults and children), a 50/50 draw, Toonie Toss and Talent Show. Games and activities begin at 4:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm. The talent show will follow dinner at approximately 5:45 pm.
Dinner tickets are $8.00 per adult, $6.00 per child or $25 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Grade 7 students receive one complimentary dinner ticket each. Tickets may be ordered by completing the form below and submitting it to the school office or by visiting the “Dinner Ticket” table in the playground every Wednesday and Friday after school. The three-course meal includes soup, pasta and dessert. Coffee and tea will also be served.
There will be a concession stand featuring snacks and cool beverages including: popcorn, chips, donuts, candies, freezies, pop, bottled water and juice.
Do you have a special talent that you would like to perform in front of an audience? Application forms for the Talent Show will be at the “Dinner Ticket” table in the playground. Please submit your application forms no later than Wednesday, June 5th. Due to the time constraint, we can only accept 15 applications on a first-come first-served basis.

STEP-UP DAY
On Thursday, June 6th from 2:00 - 3:00 pm the students will meet with their future teacher for the next school year.
FUN DAY
The students will be participating in our annual Fun Day on Thursday, June 13th. The PA will be serving a complimentary lunch at 11:30 am and the students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. All parents are welcome to join us on this day. Fun Day will take place rain or shine.
PROFESSIONAL DAY
On Friday, June 14th the staff will be using the full day for professional development; therefore, the school will be closed.
